Give Your Car a Spring Makeover

You may be noticing after winter your car interior looks a bit grubby from the mud and dirt that comes along with the wet weather. So why not take the opportunity to spring into action (excuse the pun!) and freshen up your seats, floor mats and boot with Rug Doctor.

You’ll be amazed at the dirt and grit that comes out, leaving your car smelling fresh and clean for summer!  If you have leather seats, you can still clean the floor mats and boot with the Rug Doctor, and then use a leather cleaner and conditioner on the seats to keep them in top condition.

While your upholstery is drying, wipe down the dashboard and interior surfaces with a damp cloth then clean the inside of your windows with glass cleaner.

Handy Tip: For those hard to clean areas around the drink holder and hand break, use a tooth pick to remove any caked up dirt.

Once your car is sparkling on the inside, you can move to the outside and make it shine.

Start by wetting the wheels and giving them a thorough scrub. Then move onto hosing down the entire car with water, then using a soft brush or large sponge along with a good quality car soap (not dish soap – it will strip the wax!) wash all the surfaces.  Use a microfiber cloth or shammy to remove the water and dry the exterior.  Once dry you are ready to wax it and make it shine.  The final step is to clean the exterior windows and also your mirrors.

Voila!
